Welcome to Scatopsoidea online

This site is devoted to the tiny midges of the superfamily Scatopsoidea, which includes the families Scatopsidae, Canthyloscelidae and Valeseguyidae. It is intended to be a tool for students of this group and all entomologists by bringing together up to date information.  It will eventually include all the described taxa on a world basis and the whole relevant literature.
